At home, my credit card was charged twice for an order I placed today for pick up at a Costa Mesa, CA store. The order consisted of 2 black barstools.
Please cancel the order. I contacted my bank, Chase, and filed an investigation.
You are doing this to more than just me. We will find out.

After a very offensive and demoralizing experience with the at home store in Cypress at 290 and Barker Cypress. I feel violated against.
After making a purchase online, I wanted to do an exchange of an item. However, when I got to the store because I made the purchase online. I did not have a physical receipt. However, I did have the order number which is what I use to make the pickup of the order.
I was informed that I could not get anything. But what the current sale price was for the item? Because they could not find order number. Based on the information that I had because they cannot locate an order from an order number even though it is what I used to make the pickup of the order.
Mr. Roland, which is the customer service manager which was called to assist me. Not only was he very rude. He accused me of lying saying that all the other customers have a receipt.
I at the time could not find a receipt in my email, however, I did, as I mentioned, have the order number. This was because I usually always take a screen shot of orders I make online with the order numbers as proofnof my purchase. However, an order number obviously means nothing when it comes to At Home stores, when it comes Manager Roland at Cypress store on hwy290 in Houston. I was put in a position where I was being stared at by other customers as if I was lying and he not only but said I was lying even though all I wanted was an exchange of the item, or if I couldn't get in exchange my money back.
I feel Mr. Roland who could not give me his last name?
It's not fit to be a customer service manager. We need someone better trained to deal with customers and find a resolution of a problem in a more applicable manner. I will say this, I later found the receipt and the reason why I didn't find the receipt is..
because I purchased the item with PayPal. Because it is in fact, an option when making an online purchase. And because my PayPal is under a different email address and Because I establish my PayPal 20 years ago, my email address has changed since then. However, my PayPal email address remains the same, and I still have access to my old email address (lacreciafoster@***.com) iss why.
Therefore, I could not find that information but again, I did have the order number and putting in my perks number 281827****did not make any difference. Putting in my email address did not make a difference. None of that information was available with the At home's current procedures. At this point I no longer want an exchange.
I just want my money back. Especially now that I have recovered the receipt. No thanks to Mr Roland at the 290 and barker, cypress location.
BTW. I guess due to online orders not quite sure why but.my account has three different accounts all wit the same email address.
I THINK.but when I put my number 3 encrypted emails pop up. I also need that corrected and all perks added to only one email address Lacrecia10@***.com.

Please help me get my refund. I love your store and if I could afford to buy store merchandise, I would.
I bought some items and have my receipt. I realized that at this time I cannot afford what I would like to have, but I can't. The cashier gave me a gift card. You see, I reported the credit card I used as stolen, it is canceled and I was issued a new credit card.
I do not need a gift card. Financially, I cannot afford the money used to purchase items. I really need the money back, please.
As a goodwill courtesy, please refund the money. God bless you.

I’m in limbo. I’ve a party and no charger plates!
Hi,
I ordered 20 charger plates. 9 of them arrived very nicely and individually wrapped. However, 11 were just stacked one on top of the other. The box was damaged and the plates lacked luster!
I would like to return these 11 and have new ones shipped to me. I need them by the 31st of October for a function. I am really disappointed. They even have scratches!
The boxes were dumped outside the gate, which is half a mile from my porch! I paid a generous amount for these plates. To have your company ship them in such a condition and for FedEx to just leave them like that is really unacceptable!

I'm uploading the pictures I took. I'm an operations manager for a multi-million dollar company.
I've shopped in many At Home Stores. I've never seen one of them in the condition that this store is in.
It makes me not want to shop there. Freight is just sitting on the floor, needing to be put out.

Hello. I just left your Little Rock, Arkansas location.
I was attempting to make a purchase of several items. One item was missing the back that held the battery in. When I questioned the cashier about the item which had no price tag, he immediately huffed, said someone else had tried to buy one earlier, and pointed to a return-to-shelf buggy with the exact same item in it. When I asked if a manager could help, as I had this item missing a back and another item with no tags or price, he again huffed.
Finally, after I asked again, Latissa or Latisha, who he said was the manager, walked over. She never spoke to me nor made eye contact. She told him $11 for the item with no back. As I asked if that was with the 50% price, she walked off with no response.
I then asked him about the second item with no tag or price, he huffed, said he didn't know anyone who could help me, and began to take my items and put them aside in the same return bin he had used earlier. The store looked absolutely ransacked, with broken items everywhere, so I cannot imagine I was the only one today needing a price on an item. The cashier then looked at me, rolled his eyes, and asked in a disrespectful tone, “Are you buying the other stuff?” The only pleasant employee was your security guard at the door who greeted me both coming and going with a nice comment and a smile.
I have visited several of your other locations during my travels and had great experiences, but this location makes the Dollar Tree look upscale. Needless to say, I didn't purchase the other items and will not be coming back.

I went online to purchase a Christmas tree for a total of $216.49. My transaction showed an error message like the transaction did not go through, which was apparent because I didn't receive an order number or email confirming my purchase.
I checked my bank account and there is a pending transaction for $216.49 and now I have to wait several business days for it to fall off. Thank goodness I had the extra money to just go to the store and buy the tree.
I've reached out to customer service for At Home, but all they have is an email address. It's the Christmas season and that money pending on my account could be going towards purchasing additional gifts.

Manager rudeness
I was at the Ypsilanti Michigan location of your at home store on Monday, January 6 At about 245 pm and I was talking to one of the younger girl managers. I did not get her name, but she has curly shoulder length dark hair.
She was not friendly at all. She did not crack a smile and I was talking to her about the sale, the 75% sent off sale that was going to start in two days and the question I was asking her. She told me I had to talk to a higher up manager, so I asked her what their names were and she told me and I said well do you know if one of them will be in tonight so I could call them later and she looked at me and she said I do not STALK anyone else schedules .
I was just flabbergasted that her as a manager would talk to a customer like that. I work in retail and I know we could never do that and I in my consciousness could not treat someone like that.
No direct customer support. The 1-800 number doesn't handle customers, it only directs you back to the website
I ordered a Gold framed picture recently online from At Home. Costing well over $100.00, and I never received a Text Message, or Confirmation Number for this purchase.
At Home charged my bank account for this purchase though. When I went back online to view this purchase there was no recollection of this purchase. I called the 1-800 number, but was redirected back to the website. No available help!
I love At Home, the products are lovely, but I'm now reluctant to purchase from At Home.
Over $100.00 lost. SMH.
